Watched: The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford

Beautifully shot. Nick Cave and Warren Ellis's lovely soundtrack. Sepia-toned, vernacular-filled olde timeyness. Casey Affleck and Sam Rockwell giving great performances, and Brad Pitt being, if not great, at least right for the part. Actually, Pitt's portrayal of James reminded me in some ways of Russell Crowe's performance as Ben Wade in 3:10 to Yuma. Jeremy Renner. I do love me some post-modern Western, yes, this is true.
